Josh M. Werner

Josh Michael Werner, age 36 of Marion, WI passed away unexpectedly from health complications on February 6, 2025. He was born to Terry Werner and Lisa Sarauer (Popp) on February 8, 1988 in Appleton, WI. He worked several jobs throughout his life, ultimately working his way up to a proud assistant manager position at Dollar General. However, there was nothing that made him more proud than his daughter, Raven, and helping raise her to be the best young woman she can be.

While Josh may not have had much time for himself, he always made time for everyone around him. His friends and family were first and foremost in his life and he liked spending as much time as he could with everyone he loved. He would seldom say no to an invitation to any event or outing and always made it a point to be there for anyone who wanted him to be near – most importantly, for his beloved daughter.

Josh will be deeply missed by his daughter, Raven, and his parents, Lisa (Richard) and Terry. He will also be missed by his sister, Sam (Andy) Smith, and brothers, Jake (Jessica) Werner and Ben Wener (S.O. Nicole Mueller). He will also be missed by several nieces and a nephew, as well as his aunts and uncles, his many friends, and special friend, Heather Fletcher. 

Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, Neva and Al Werner and Marilyn and Duane Popp. 

A memorial visitation will be held for Josh from 11 AM – 1 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a memorial service to follow at 1 PM, led by Kari Stanek. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Raven’s higher education - any donations would be greatly appreciated.
