Coonen, Josetta M.

Josetta M. Coonen, Kaukauna, age 92, died Monday morning, July 26, 2004, at Franciscan Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 1, 1912, in Antioch, WI and had been a Kaukauna resident most of her life. Josetta had been employed by Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company and by Gilbert Paper Company, until her retirement. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton and a current member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Survivors include her daughter, Virginia E. Sens, Chicago; a granddaughter, Carol (Paul) Cowan, Chicago; five great grandchildren, Florence Janet Marie Frickel, Angela Marie Purcell, James Lamar Purcell, Rose Marie Brady and Kristina Anna Marie Cowan; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Smith, Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Smith and a brother, Gerald Smith. The funeral liturgy for Josetta will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 29, 2004, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 West Seventh Street, Kaukauna with Father Robert Udulutsch O. F. M. Cap, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
