MUELLER, JOSEPHINE P. “JO”

Josephine Mueller, age 85, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Brewster Village. She was born on February 24, 1926 in Italy, the daughter of the late Guilio and Maria Perillo. Jo was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, dancing, bowling and loved entertaining.

Josephine is survived by her five children: Kenneth (Judy) Mueller, Jr., Watertown; Debbie Mueller, Beaver Dam; Donald Mueller, Stilwell, Kansas; Shari (Bob) Hilliard, Clearwater, Florida and Nancy Tennie, Appleton; six grandchildren: Christopher (Desiree) Mueller; Amy and Tim Hilliard; Cory Tennie, Melissa (Giovanni Patterson) Tennie Patterson and Daniel Tennie; six great grandchildren: Giovanni and Treven Mueller, Jewleonni Calderon; Antonio, Angelo and Joseph Patterson; two sisters-in-law: Carmen Perillo, New Jersey and Harriet Wyant, Alabama. She is further survived by eight nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Mueller and her brothers, Mario and Anthony Perillo.

The funeral liturgy for Josephine will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street, Appleton. Father Dennis Ryan will be officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Appleton. The visitation will be held at the Wichmann Funeral Home TODAY from 4:00 pm until the prayer service at 7:00 pm and again at the church from 12:00 noon until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Brewster Village or The Alzheimer Association of the Fox Valley are appreciated.
