Joseph (Joe) Bernard Storino, age 101, passed away on March 9, 2023. Joe was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1921. He served his country proudly during World War II as a member of the United States Army. He was a graduate from the DePaul School of Music and taught band in Chicago before following his true passion, photography. He loved photographing family portraits (especially of his own), weddings, proms, and school pictures. In his spare time, he always loved to play piano (wherever you could find one) and helped to instill that love of music in his children.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Tan Storino and his children: Charlene, Charmaine, Charles (Linsey Propson) and James; his grandchildren: Marlie, Mason, Maverick; their dogs: Nala, Samwell; Anthony, Gio, and Hiro; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Pietro and Archangela, his sister Rose and brothers and sisters-in-law: Sam (Mary), Albert (Rose), August (Nancy), and Henry Sr. (Lorraine); and his son Joseph Jr.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 16 from 10:00 AM-12:30 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha, WI 54952. A short prayer service will be held at 12:30 PM. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Hilbert, WI at 2:00 pm.
