Joseph Rupiper Sr.

Joseph P. Rupiper Sr., age 69, of Appleton, WI, passed away on December 30, 2021, in his home, with his family members by his side. He was born January 1, 1952, in Kaukauna, WI, the son of Arnold and Virginia (Reed) Rupiper.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Scott) Rupiper, whom he married on May 22, 1970, in Appleton, WI. He is also survived by his three children: Joseph Jr. of Menasha, WI, Brian (Karen) Rupiper of Ormand Beach, FL, and Rachel (Robin) Norton of Appleton, WI. Joe’s memory will be carried on by his nine grandchildren: Desiree Rupiper, Brandon Funk, Trevor Rupiper, Megan Funk, Nicholas Rupiper, Nathan Rupiper, Briana Rupiper, Alexis Torres, and Brayden Norton (Spud). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Julian Xiong, Carson Xiong, Tatum Rupiper, Azalea Dawson, Ryder Rupiper, and Zayden Rupiper.

Visitation for Joseph will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home of Appleton, WI on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 3:00-6:00pm with services to follow by Father Joseph Dorner. The burial will take place at Community Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom, WI at 9:00am on Saturday, January 8, 2022. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
