Died suddenly in a tragic accident on Friday, December 27, 2002. He was born on October 19, 1956 in Appleton, the son of Louise and the late Bernard Davidson. Survivors include his mother, Louise, Appleton; sisters: Linda, Appleton, Gail (Brian) Allan, Bayside; brothers: Jerald, Milwaukee, Daniel (friend Mary), Alexandria, VA, William (Lynn), Appleton; nieces: Katie and Peggy Allan, Bayside; aunts, Mary Michalkiewicz, Menasha, Margaret (Jerome) Welhouse, Kaukauna, Gertie Gaffney, Kimberly, Virginia Grishaber, Milwaukee, Bette Wingrove, Appleton, Tom (Corrine) Grishaber, Combined Locks, Loretta Grishaber, Appleton, Margaret Grishaber, Appleton, Dorothy Grishaber, Appleton, Marge (Ron) Merkley, MontVerde, FL, and numerous cousins and friends especially Michael May and Marty Wingrove.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father Bernard, uncles Daniel, Robert, Leo, Paul, Harold (Betty), Arnold and Richard (Gertrude) Grishaber, Neil, Charles, Elmer, and Edwin (Vera) Davidson and aunt Bernice Davidson.
Joseph earned his MBA at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and worked for John Hancock Insurance as a Senior Systems Analyst. Joseph enjoyed golf, pool, and was a life-long Packer fan.
Joseph will be fondly remembered by his nieces Katie and Peggy whom he enjoyed teaching cribbage, chess and backgammon. He was also a mentor to his mother and his sisters in surfing the Internet.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2002 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Harold Berryman officiating. Friends and family will be received on Monday at church from 9:00 AM until the hour of service. A memorial fund is being established.
Joseph will be deeply missed by his mother, family, and friends.
