Joe Milheiser, 63, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at his home. He was born on May 20, 1956, in Appleton the son of Gordon and Carol (Schomisch) Milheiser. Joe was a free spirit, dedicated worker, fantastic uncle, good listener, straight forward man who liked to speak his mind. He will be remembered for being big hearted, willing to do anything for his family, and his understanding nature. Joe enjoyed car rides up north, breakfast and coffee dates, and spending time with his family. He was employed with Essity for 41 years, retiring in May of 2018.
Joseph is survived by his 6 siblings: Orville “Bud” (Christine), Phil (Jan), Louis (Patty), Tom (Donna), Jerry (Pati), Julie (Brad) Swiontek; nieces and nephews: Eric (April), Mike (Amanda), Jenna (Evan), Monica (Josh), Paul (Bailey), December, Amy (John), Lisa, Karrie, Melissa (Scott), John, Jennifer (Eric), Tony (Tisha), Casey (DJ), Morgan (Eduardo), Lauren, and Alex; other relatives and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Becky Milheiser; sister: Mary Ann Milheiser; and brother-in-law: Jeff Scheffler.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the Wichmann Funeral Home Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Visitation will be Wednesday at the chapel from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. A memorial will be established.
