Jordan W. Nedd

May 27, 1995 — October 3, 2018

Jordan William Nedd, age 23, of Appleton, WI departed this world on October 3, 2018 to be with his Heavenly Father after fighting a courageous, ten-month battle with brain cancer. Jordan was born on May 27, 1995 in Waukegan, IL to William and Doria (Olson) Nedd, grew up and attended public schools in Kenosha, WI before moving to Neenah, WI in 2012, where he graduated from Neenah High School in 2013. Jordan was a loving husband, beloved son and brother, and a gift to all who experienced the joy of having him touch their life in the many roles in which he served and embraced. Jordan was an Eagle Scout, served his country as a SeaBee in the United States Navy, and was employed as an automotive mechanic as he loved working with his hands almost as much as he loved making people laugh or pursuing his favorite hobby, fishing. However, the role he embraced most was being the husband of the love of his life, his Bride Abigail (Price) Nedd, also known affectionately as “Abby.” They were married for 53 glorious days, although Abby met Jordan weeks before he was diagnosed with brain cancer in December of 2017, she never left his side and loved Jordan for the rest of his life, no matter how difficult circumstances became. Abby Nedd is an angel sent by God to show Jordan the purest form of love a man can have on earth, a Marriage with a loving and devoted Bride. Jordan is survived by his wife, Abigail Nedd; his parents, William and Doria Nedd, his big sister Rebekah Stark (Taylor), and numerous members of a loving extended family.

Jordan’s life will be celebrated on at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior St., Appleton) with Rev. Mark Tegtmeier and Rev. Brian Episcopo officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that charitable donations be made to the Glioblastoma Moon Shot Program. Donations should be made in memory of Jordan W. Nedd so that a cure or prevention can be identified so that others may benefit.

Special thanks to all the doctors and health care providers who cared for Jordan during his final journey, with the greatest thanks to the Living God, who blessed the lives of everyone who Jordan touched while he was with us here in our earthly life.
