John W. Reimer

Age 87, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Garden City Health Care Center in Modesto, CA. John had a 40 year career with American Can Company, beginning in 1933 as an office boy. He opened and managed plants in Sunnyside, Washington and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, as well as Marathon in Modesto, California.

John is survived by two sons, Gerald (Margaret), Modesto, CA; and Robert (Susan), Irwin, PA; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ella M. Reimer.

The service will be held on Monday, May 13, 2002 at Highland Memorial Park Chapel (3131 N. Richmond St.) at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ray Claussen officiating. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service (10:30 a.m.). Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
