Jack Ourada, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at his home. He was born on July 21, 1949, in Antigo, the son of Kenneth and Leona “Peggy” (Emmer) Ourada. Jack was united in marriage to Linda Dulfer on June 12, 1971, in Polar, WI. He was employed with Farm Credit Services for 35 years, and then most recently with the Wisconsin State Farm Center. He was passionate about farming, assisting farmers, and making sure their needs were met. Jack enjoyed fishing, grilling and barbequing, gardening, planting and harvesting, and traveling with Linda, especially to Mexico. Jack enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard, and hosting annual events with friends at the cottage. Jack was very active in his college fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho. He was active on the Xavier High School and St. Thomas More School Board’s, when his children attended. Jack and Linda co-founded the Christmas Stars production, to raise money for the students in the fine arts. He will be remembered most for his love of family; especially, the time spent up north at the cottage and attending the grandchildren’s events.
Jack is survived by his wife: Linda; 3 children: Amanda (Travis) Pound, Joe (Victoria) Ourada, and Nancy (Mike) Haynes; grandchildren: Nate, Andrew, and Charlotte Pound, Joe and Abby Ourada, and Jack and William Haynes; a special niece: Tina (Kris) Peterson and their children: Lily, Brady, and Owen; 3 siblings: Kenneth (Bonnie), Mike, and Sam (Liz) Ourada; other relatives and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; father- and mother-in-law: William and Carol Dulfer; and a brother-in-law: Bill Dulfer.
A Private memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, on Monday, February 7, 2022, and will be Livestreamed via his obituary page at www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com. The family will greet guests at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha, on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions are appreciated to Alpha Psi Chapter – Alpha Gamma Rho at the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.
Jack’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the medical team at ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center, the staff at ThedaCare at Home and Hospice, and Dr. Douglas Moard for their care, compassion, and kindness.
