McNulty, John P.

John P. McNulty, age 65, of Sarasota Florida, formerly of Menasha, passed away Friday morning, July 18, 2008. He was born July 29, 1942, to Phillip and Elizabeth (Young) McNulty, in Spokane, Washington and grew up in DePere. John graduated from Abbott Pennings High School, of DePere and from the College of St. Thomas, of St Paul MN, in 1964. He had been employed by American Can Company from 1964 to 1991, where he was Director of Sales. Following this he held management positions for Chicago area companies until his retirement in 2002. John loved his children and grandchildren deeply; they were the center of his life and brought laughs and smiles to his heart during his lengthy illness. He loved to travel and take on new adventures and was an avid reader of adventure novels. John is survived by his wife, Diane (Sheleski) McNulty, to whom he had been married for 42 years; two sons, Matthew (Jennifer A.) McNulty, Woodridge, IL; Andrew (Jennifer M.) McNulty, Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, MaryKate, Colin, Teagan, Jack Andrew and Charles McNulty; his mother, Elizabeth McNulty Hillary; a sister, Nancy (Stu) Solberg, Green Bay; a brother, Mark (Gail) McNulty, Odessa, FL; his mother-in-law, Isabelle Sheleski; a sister-in-law, Judith (William) Klein, Neenah; two brothers-in-law, Michael (Debra) Sheleski, Menasha; William (Anne) Sheleski, Fairfax, VA; six nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Catherine, his father, Phillip McNulty and his father-in-law, Hillard Sheleski. The funeral liturgy for John will be held at 12:30 pm, Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 516 DePere Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relative may call at the church on Saturday from 10:30 am, until the time of the mass.
