John Patrick Huempfner

John P. Huempfner, of Bailey’s Harbor, WI, age 60, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Green Bay, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 11, 1961 in Neenah, WI, son of the late Milo and Barbara (Vandenlangenberg) Huempfner.

He was raised in Neenah, WI, and attended Neenah High School. John worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed a cold Budweiser, watching Family Feud, doing Sudoko puzzles, and loved his family.

His fun-loving spirit will be dearly missed by his partner and caregiver, Joni Wood; two children: Andrew Huempfner, Stacey Huempfner and fiancé, Neil; five siblings: Michael Huempfner; James Huempfner, Alan Huempfner, Kay Huempfner, and Paul Huempfner. He is further survived by numerous beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life for relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 1pm to 5pm at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St., Egg Harbor, WI. A tree dedication ceremony will be held at a later date in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any memorial donations to help cover costs.
