John George Geske

August 13, 1952 — October 9, 2018

John George Geske, age 66, of Appleton, passed away on October 9, 2018 at Thedacare Regional Medical Center of Appleton. John was born on August 13, 1952, in Appleton, son of the late Evan and Eleanore (Loose) Geske. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 1970. From the age of 15, John loved working on racecars. He raced at WIR racetrack and several other tracks throughout Wisconsin. John could fix, repair and fabricate just about anything. He enjoyed finding diamonds in the rough, fixing them up, and selling them for a profit.

John will be deeply missed by his siblings: Debbie Heckert, Sue Geske, Jim Geske, Tim (Sharie) Geske, Jane Geske, Boone Geske, Tom Geske, Scott (Carolyn) Geske, and Jody Kelder. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, as well as his siblings: Paul Geske and Cindy Sundin.

A time of sharing for John will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N Superior St. Appleton. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of sharing. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com. In lieu of flower, a memorial fund has been established in John’s name.
