John G. Wylie

John Grinnell Wylie, was born February 21, 1935, and passed away peacefully on December 22, 2010. John married his high school sweetheart Nancy Rae Wegener on August 25, 1956; she preceded him in passing in 1984. He is survived by two children: Christopher (Catie) Wylie and Nini (fka Angela) (Albert) Carter, grandchildren, other extended relatives, and friends. John practiced law for many years in the Fox Cities and was an active community member, serving numerous organizations in both professional and volunteer capacities. He was an avid athlete and tennis player, achieving State rankings in singles and mixed doubles, and coached tennis at multiple levels, including assisting his son with various collegiate teams. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM Wednesday, December 29th, 2010 with a brief memorial service to take place at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
