John E. Howell

John E. Howell, age 48, of Appleton, passed at his home on July 31, 2016. John was born on born March 17, 1968, the beloved son to Melba Howell (d. in 2001) and father John Howell; adored brother to Ryan and Angela. A force to be reckoned with, John was a former Marine who served in Desert Storm. A man who said what he meant and meant what he said, was revered by many. John was direct and forthright but always kind and caring; he left a lasting impression to anyone who met him. We will miss him and his laugh terribly.
The memorial service for John will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N Superior St. Appleton. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
