John A. Shukoski

November 27, 1949 — February 15, 2022

JOHN ALLEN SHUKOSKI, age 72, of Neenah, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Juliette Manor in Berlin. He was born November 27, 1949 in Neenah, son of Edmund and Agnes (Giese) Shukoski.

John served in the US Navy at Norfolk, VA. He enjoyed nature and the great outdoors, bike rides, sunshine (working on his tan), listening to music (oldies/classic rock), playing games, beer and burgers, and especially, spending time with family. He will be remembered as a great listener and for his kindness, supportiveness, sense of humor, compassion, and love of family.

He is survived by his three children: daughter Sonja (Dalton), son Brett (Cindy), daughter Elisha (Logan); five grandchildren: Oliver, Blake, Matthew, Lily, Jacob; six brothers: Larry, Raymond, Gary, Donald, Duane, Ed; three sisters: Karen, Pat, Nancy.

John was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda; sisters, Gloria and Mary Beth; a brother, Bernard; and parents, Edmund and Agnes.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Menasha, with Deacon Don officiating. Interment at the grave will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Menasha Post 2126 in John’s memory.

His legacy will live on in all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Juliette Manor for their exceptional care and compassion.
