Age 73, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2004, at Appleton Medical Center. Joanne was born on September 27, 1930, in Sioux City, South Dakota to the late F. C. and Laurine (Rice) Shockley. She married Wayne F. Hansen in 1948. Joanne was a devoted wife and mother. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Wayne; her daughter, Vicki (Bob) Coer, Story City, Iowa; her daughter Chris (Larry) Classen, Madison, Wisconsin; her daughter Mary Hansen, Appleton; and her son David (Lisa) Hansen, Kaukauna; her grandchildren, Stephanie Siska, Naperville, Illinois, and Erik Pokki, Appleton; and her great grandson Jacob Siska. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2004, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Mr. Pete Reinl officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
