Joan Marilyn Klevesahl (Schwenke), 88 years, was welcomed by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah. She was born March 7, 1930 to Walter and Margaret Schwenke (Kautz) in the Town of Larrabee in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. On December 18, 1948 Joan and Calvin Klevesahl were married at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pella Opening, Wisconsin. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Joan is survived by children Gary (Lucretia) Klevesahl, Karen (Garry Hensley) Larson, Lindsay (Barbara) Klevesahl, and Mark Klevesahl, grandchildren Michelle Klevesahl, Andrea (Brad) Newman, David Larson, Kelly (Corey) O’Connell, and Paul (Nicole) Klevesahl, great-grandchildren Lucy, Chloe, Calvin and Kendall, a sister Ruthann Buelow, sister-in-law Elverna Schwenke, and brother-in-law Robert (Marilyn) Klevesahl. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Calvin Klevesahl, her parents Walter and Margaret Schwenke, her brother Donald Schwenke, her sister Doris (Henry) Steenbock, her brother-in-law Donald Buelow, and her brother-in-law Howard (Audrey) Klevesahl.
A Funeral Service for Joan will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave., Appleton. Private entombment Highland Memorial Park. Family and friends may gather at the Church from 3:00 pm until time of Service.
The family sends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of ThedaCare Regional Medical Center- Neenah for their loving care of Joan.
