Age 80, died Thursday morning, April 15, 2004. She was born June 16, 1923, to the late Ernst and Mildred E. (Burnside) Draheim, in Milwaukee and grew up in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Jody attended Northwestern University. She married Leo Schumaker, June 10, 1944; he preceded her in death in 1969. Jody then married Charles F. Galloway, in Oneida County in 1971; he preceded her in death in 1980. Survivors include three children, Sydney Ann Chase, Sacramento, CA; Christy Ann Schumaker, Stevens Point; Steven (Susie) Schumaker, Des Plaines, IL; four grandchildren, Aimee (Ron) Gonzalvo, Sacramento, CA; Julie Day, Sun Prairie; Mark Bruckert, Middleton; Kerry Schumaker, Waupaca; a great granddaughter, Caitlyn Ann Gonzalvo; cousins, Busy and Katie Fordyce, Green Bay; her dear friends, June Ruth Estabrook, Rhinelander; Mary O’Malley, Athens, OH; John and Susan Korth, Greenville and their children, Trevor and Griffin. She was preceded in death by a dear friend, Jeanine Taylor. Funeral service for Jody will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 18, 2004, at the funeral home, with Reverend Nancy Zorn Micke officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm Sunday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may sent to the American Heart Association.

So as the sun sets out of view, Jody our mother and friend returns home to the Lord, Our Father. We will meet again.
