Age 93, died on Wednesday September 17, 2008. Joan was born on August 21, 1915 in Rossville, Illinois to Grace and Jonas Scholl. Her family moved to Clearwater Lake, Wisconsin in 1917. She graduated from Three Lakes, Wis. High School in 1932. In 1946 she moved to Little Chute where she worked for United Grocers, retiring in 1979. Joan spent her retirement years between Wisconsin and Stuart, Florida. She is survived by her god-daughter Susan Holmgren Richmond, Appleton. Cremation will be by Wichmann Funeral Home, and private memorial services will be in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.
