Jo Ann Reischl

Jo Reischl, 66, was found passed away at home on December 16, 2023. She was born on January 2, 1957, to Henry and Clara (Lenz) Baumann.

Jo was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She had a very quirky and sarcastic sense of humor and liked to use it. She loved to travel, taking many trips down south to visit family. She also loved to hop in the car and go see what nature had to offer, taking many pictures of various waterfalls in the area.

Jo was also a hard worker, most recently at Dicks Family Foods. She worked a lot of hours but seemed to enjoy the work. Also, until she moved from her home in Sherwood she loved working in the garden, the love of which she got from her father.

Jo will be sadly missed by her mother, Clara (Lenz) Baumann; children: Jessica Reischl, Jason (Marnie) Reischl, and Jodie (Jason) Beach Thiel; grandchildren: Mykayla (Chris) Kilsdonk, David Reischl, Tara Reischl; sisters: Linda (John) Breitzman and Sally (Frank) Baublit; brothers: David (Carrie) Baumann and Tom Baumann; former daughters-in-law: Lisa and MaryAnne; great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by her father, Henry and a brother, Henry.

A memorial gathering will be held from 10 am until Noon, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
