Jerrad A. Gutierrez, age 23, died unexpectedly, Saturday, November 20, 2004. He was born November 20, 1981, the son of Anthony F. and June L. (Martinez) Gutierrez, in Neenah and graduated from Menasha High School in 2000. Jerrad had been employed by Manderfield’s Bakery. He enjoyed soccer, hunting, fishing, spending time with his younger sisters, Lisanya and Marita. He also enjoyed music, biking, reading the Bible and praying, seeking Jesus and he had a heart for Jesus. He was a member of Christ the Rock Church.
Survivors include his parents: June L. Gutierrez, Missoula, Montana; and his father, Anthony F. (Nannette) Gutierrez, Menasha; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Nicole and Russell Cook, Marion; and Lisanya and Marita Gutierrez, both at home; five nephews: Noah, Isaiah, Nathan, Samuel and Nicholas Cook; his maternal grandfather, Alfonso Martinez and his maternal grandmother, June (Ben) Thompson. Paternal grandparents are Juanita and Manuel Bedolla. Surviving aunts and uncles include Gabriel and Diane Gutierrez, David and Rose Gutierrez, Frank and Virginia Gutierrez, Jim and Lisa Gutierrez, Yolanda and Byron Henshaw, Louis and Martha Martinez. Great uncles include James Pownell and Robert Pownell. Jerrad also had numerous cousins, with whom he had special relationships, including Richard, Gabriel, Frank, and Michael Gutierrez, James and Shannon Riasen; and two uncles Guadalupe Solis and Keno Samudio. He was preceded in death by Pearl E. Martinez.
The funeral service for Jerrad will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, November 26, 2004, at CHRIST THE ROCK COMMUNITY CHURCH, W6254 Highway 10-114, with Reverend John Kieffer officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1:00 pm, Friday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jerrad's name.
