At 4 pm January 13th on a wintery Sunday afternoon, my dad, Jerry Krejcha took a walk into Heaven to see his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Among Jerry’s numerous qualities were his strong, intelligent opinions which were always expressed with respect and dignity as he was a truly gentle man full of compassion and love for others. A veteran of the U.S. Navy with a lifelong passion for art, Jerry was a photographer and artist overwhelmed by the wonder, beauty, and joy of life which he expressed on canvass and other mediums. Through his art, others were able to experience joy. So developed were his artistic skills that he once won recognition from the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation for his work. His desire would be that you too would enjoy life through art.
Jerry will be missed not only by the rascally squirrels from around his neighborhood, but also by the beautiful love of his life, Judy, as well as by the rest of his amazing and wonderful family all of whom he deeply loved and truly cherished.
He is survived by the life-long love of his life, Judy Drum; his sons, Charlie Taylor of California and Jerome (Jennifer) Krejcha of Virginia; grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie, Micah, Jaycie, JT and Johanna; and stepdaughter, Kelly Stuck of Appleton. He is further survived by siblings, Larry (Sylvia) Krejcha of Florida, Jean (Tom) Kelly of Oshkosh, Janie (Fred) Sonnenschein of Appleton and Kim (Tom) Cody of Appleton; and numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Krejcha and Margaret (Lyscio) Krejcha; his brothers, Louis Krejcha and infant brother, George; and nephew, Louis Krejcha IV.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Jerry at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W. Lawrence St, Appleton, WI 54911 by Rev. Jim Leary O.F.M. Cap. Friends may visit at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.
