Jerome L. Behrendt, age 90, of Kimberly passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Brewster Village. He was born in Marinette on December 31, 1932, son of the late George A. and Mary (Rocket) Behrendt.
Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He worked in the motor pool ordering and maintaining vehicle parts to keep our troops mobile.
Jerry was a photographer who worked at Pechman’s in Kaukauna for many years. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing the piano, woodworking, camping and watching the Packers. He had a great sense of humor that he shared with his family.
On November 5, 1955 he was united in marriage to Donna Archambault. She preceded him in death on October 25, 2004.
Survivors include his daughters: Laurie (Allen) Clark, Johns Creek, GA; Darleen Behrendt, Kimberly; Linda (Dan) Sanchez, Appleton; Sandy (Steve) Fenn, Grand Chute; Cathy Sampson, Kimberly; son: Steve (Lynn) Behrendt, Appleton; grandchildren: Tracy and Travis Clark; Jeremiah, Joshua and Jesse (Claudia) Swiechowski; Ken (fiancé Carissa), Brandon (Baily) and Christopher Sampson; Jayden (fiancé Kathryn), Cambria and Alayna Behrendt; sisters: Patricia McGuire, Arizona; Anita (Fred) Ciatti, Milwaukee; and Mary (Robert) VanDyck; brother: Mike (Liz) Behrendt, Oshkosh. Further survived by sister-in-law: Linda Behrendt, Ohio; and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Florence (Joe) Theis and brothers, George (Audrey) and John Behrendt; brother-in-law, Joe McGuire.
We'll miss you, Dad, and are very proud of you. You can rest now, no more doctor appointments.
Friends may call at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Kimberly, on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 9 to 11 am until the Mass with Fr. Carl Schmitt officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
