Jeanne Ellen Kilishek (Arseneau) was received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Born in Oak Park, Illinois in November of 1943 to Bernard and Marjorie (Case) Arseneau, she was their second daughter in the family that grew to have five daughters and a son. She married her husband, William Kilishek in August of 1966 after he returned from Vietnam to Menasha, WI with honors. They would have a son, William and a daughter, Michele.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1972 while attending Calvary Bible Church in Neenah, WI. She would work many years for Wisconsin Tissue Mills in administration and accounting where her smile and bright spirit would bring joy to many. She retired in 1998 and had the great opportunity to help care for her grandchildren. Her generous spirit and passion for Christ reflected His love and grace to those around her whenever she had the chance. Arts and crafts – especially sewing – were her most known hobbies. She enjoyed the partnership of painting the wood craft items built by her husband. Her seamstress skills of making beautiful quilts and dresses for the girls and always repairing the boys’ clothes was such a blessing. She also enjoyed stamp handcrafting cards, serving in her church, and fellowship with her friends from the Calvary Bible Church Women’s Bible Study.
Jeanne will be deeply missed by her children, William “Bill” Kilishek and Michele Kilishek; her grandchildren, Davina Walls, Jim Walls, Abby Kilishek, and Karissa Kilishek; her siblings, Charlotte Hanson, Jerry Arseneau, and Theresa Juedes; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
In heaven, Jeanne joins her husband, William Kilishek; her parents, Bernard and Marjorie Arseneau; and her sisters, Gail Palmer and Judy Sobak.
A memorial visitation will be held for Jeanne from 2-4 PM on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S. Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54952 with a celebration of life service to follow at 4 PM.
