Jean K. Moore

Jean K. (Rosenow) Moore, 93, passed away with family by her side on April 21, 2025. She was born on November 20, 1931, to her parents Gordon and Clara (Besaw) Smith in Neenah, Wisconsin.

She was raised in Neenah with her 2 brothers. She attended and graduated from Neenah High School. She met her late husband Charles Rosenow when they were in high school but started dating later. They eventually married and had 11 children together. Unfortunately, Charles passed in 1983. She later found love again with her late husband Dennis Moore. He too unfortunately passed in 2016.

Jean was sharp as a tack and witty until the very end. She was a great lover of dogs. Animals in general, but specifically dogs. She loved going up north to Townsend, WI to her second home in the woods. When she was home, she was very proud of her home and enjoyed doing yardwork and was an incredible cook. She loved to bowl, go shopping, puzzles, and playing on her iPad. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family, grandkids, and great grandkids whether it was in person or on facetime.

Jean is survived by her children: Richard (Donna) Rosenow, Robert Rosenow, Tim (Kathy) Rosenow, Sue (Jack) Chiovatero, Judith Treadway, Mary (Randy) Berryman, Bart (Brenda) Rosenow, Nancee (Dan) Butts; brother Jack Smith; 24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her late husbands, parents, daughter and son-in law Debbie and Ted Coon, brother Bill Smith, infant twins Albert and Charles, and son-in-law Everett Treadway.

A celebration of life will take place on Monday April 28, 2025, from 11am to 2pm at Bubolz Nature Preserve, 4815 N Lynndale Dr, Appleton WI 54913. A private family burial will take place at a later time.
