Jean Wyngaard, age 65, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at the Appleton Medical Center, following a brief illness. Jean was born in Eau Claire on May 25, 1941, daughter of the late James and Adeline (Schroeder) Case. On July 22, 1961, she married Gerry Wyngaard in Kimberly; he survives. As a young woman, Jean worked at AAL, and later left the workforce to raise her family. She was a longtime and faithful member of Mount Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She also volunteered her time by answering the telephone for Christian Life Resources. Jean enjoyed spending time chatting with friends online, but will be best remembered for her knitting – so many friends and relatives have keepsakes she had made!
Jean is survived by her husband: Gerry Wyngaard of Kimberly; two daughters: Barbara Larsen of Oshkosh and Ann (Franklin) Chalker of Clarkston, Michigan; four grandchildren: Leah (Heath) Winkelman, Adria Lehndorf, David Lehndorf, and Lilly Chalker; two great-grandchildren: Dominick and Alicia Winkelman; two brothers: Jim (Mary) Case of Waupaca and John (Barb) Case of Kimberly; two sisters-in-law: Joyce (Jim) Eichinger of Combined Locks and Shirley (Richard) Dercks of Combined Locks; and two brothers-in-law: Robert (Rose) Wyngaard of Little Chute and Ken Wyngaard of Kimberly and his special friend Sheila Hein.
The Christian Funeral for Jean will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at MOUNT CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, N2878 Coop Road in the town of Harrison with Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.
