Jean Doell

Jean Doell, age 86, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Prairie Home Assisted Living. Jean was born on July 10, 1936, in Ilford England, to the late Arthur Rickett and Helen (Sindrey) Rickett.  She attended art school and married Wilbur (Bill) Doell on January 4, 1958, in Ipswich England.

Survivors include her husband Wilbur (Bill) Doell, Appleton; daughter, Patti (Jim) Zietlow, Colorado Springs; and son, Paul (Jonelle) Doell, Appleton; grandchildren, Gabby Zietlow (Patrick Ural), Izzy Zietlow, Crystal and Katie Doell.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Helen Rickett; brothers Dennis and Peter Rickett and sister Joyce (Rickett) Francis.  

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday December 20, 2022, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E College Ave, Appleton with Pastor Tim Seabaugh officiating. Visitation will also be at Good Shepherd from 10:00 am until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.
