Jean Elizabeth Burdick

Jean E. Burdick, 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, of a broken heart. She was born on January 26, 1954, in Appleton, the daughter of William and Rita (Anthony) Seidl. Jean loved being a grandma, it was her biggest pride and joy, and her family was always important to her. She enjoyed camping, attending flea markets and swap meets, and being Lance’s sidekick over the years. Jean will always be remembered for her generous golden heart, always helping others whenever she could, and her strong-willed independent nature.

Jean is survived by two sons: Lance (Terri) Jr. and Matthew “Chewy” Burdick; 3 grandchildren: Owen, Emma, and Madison; 6 siblings: Tony (Karen) Seidl, Janice (Charles) Close, Jackie Hernandez, Kay (Jack) Lex, Duwayne Seidl, and Penny (Brad) Delrow; other relatives and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lance Sr.; two siblings, George Seidl and Mary Ann; and a brother-in-law: Abundio Hernandez.

In accordance with Jean’s wishes, no service will be held.
