BRUNELLE, JEAN

Jean Brunelle, age 73, of Sherwood and Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 1, 2006. Jean was born on May 16, 1933, in Kewanee, Illinois, to the late Edward and Ruth (O’Conner) Lams. Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was well known for her love of life, and love of travel. Jean owned and operated Brunelle Real Estate in Beaver Dam from 1977 to 1990. She married Bob Brunelle on November 14, 1953, in Kewanee, Illinois. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bob; her children, Robb Brunelle, Beaver Dam; Roberta (Robert) Muter, Sherwood; and Deb Wright, Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Misty Muter, Prairie de Sac, Wisconsin; Ben Muter, Bemidji, Minnesota; Dane Muter, Sherwood; Ashley Wright, Minneapolis; and Joseph Wright, Minneapolis; her brothers, Rusty “John” Lams, Kewanee, Illinois, and Tom (Kay) Lams, Vancouver, Washington; and her sisters, Nancy Loughe, Kewanee, and Jeri (Jerry) Swearingen, Kewanee, Illinois. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2006, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, N369 Military Road, Sherwood, with Fr. Celestine Byekwaso officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of ThedaCare Hospice for their care and compassion.
