Heaven gained an Angel early December 2nd when Jean (Thistle) Maas died unexpectedly beside her loving family at Appleton Medical Center.
Jean, the youngest of four children, was born in Colby, Wisconsin on February 5, 1941. She graduated from Appleton West in 1959 and was married to Lyle J. Maas on June 18, 1960.

She brimmed with pride for each of her children and grandchildren.
She was employed at Plexus from 1994 until she retired in 2006.
She is survived by her husband Lyle Maas, Appleton; sisters: Yvonne (Bill) TeKampe of Vesper and Loraine Dittman of Appleton; her five children: Julie (Tom) Mueller of Neenah; Brian Maas of Appleton; Colleen (Lee) Behnke of Appleton; Paul Maas of Appleton; Jackie (Dale) Weber of Appleton; grandchildren: Mindy (Aaron) Pankow of Appleton; Stacy (Joe) Tesch of Little Chute; Tyler Maas of Appleton; Michael Behnke of Appleton; Chelsea Maas of Appleton, Derek Weber of Appleton and Darynn Mueller of Neenah; and a great grandchild, Hunter Tesch of Little Chute.
