Jaycee Rose Sunshine Vallier, 8, of Darboy, went to live with Jesus on Saturday, July 3, 2021, after a 520-day battle with brain cancer. She was a true warrior and chose to lay down her sword when her physical body ran out of fight before she did. Her spirit was nothing short of heroic as she was a true superhero in every sense of the word.
Jaycee was born in Appleton on February 14, 2013, and recently completed 2nd Grade at Holy Spirit Catholic School, where she was a student since 2016.
Jaycee is survived by her devoted parents Trish and Curtis as well as two amazing sisters Anneliesa and Miley. She is further survived by her loving grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Liturgy for Jaycee will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH, 620 E Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Visitation will be held the night before from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2021, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM on Saturday at the church until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers we are asking friends and family to make donations to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, please visit https://team.curethekids.org/ChasingRainbows.
Jaycee laid down her sword, but our fight is far from over! With your donations this organization will fund the research necessary to find better treatments and one day a cure for Pediatric Brain Tumors!
Thank you to Jaycee’s massive social media followers and local community members for the support and love.
