Neenah

Janice J. “Bunny” Beyersdorf, age 85, of Neenah, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 15th with her family by her side.  She was born on October 6, 1936 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Al and Crystal Casperson.  She graduated from Appleton High School.  She married Henry "Hank" Beyersdorf on July 8, 1955. She enjoyed camping in Sayner, bowling, snowmobiling, card club and spending quality time at their cottage in Suring with friends and family.  Shortly after Hank got sick they sold the cottage and she became his loving caregiver for 17 years until he passed in 2001.  She was truly a blessing in his life providing for him to be able to stay at home.  Through all of those years and beyond she always made time to spend with friends and family.  She loved to attend sporting and school events of her two grandchildren.  She loved the birds outside, her yard, and her house. The Lord blessed her and kept her well enough for her to be able to stay in her house until he called her to be reunited with Hank in her heavenly home.
She became Great Grandma in 2018 (Emerson Rae)and in 2020 (Rylan Cindy) to two wonderful little girls. They always put a huge smile on her face when she saw them or got pictures of them.  They lit up her life.  She was a breast cancer survivor in 2021.  She was an awesome Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma.   She loved her family dearly along with her great friends. She is survived by her devoted son Dennis and a special daughter-in-law Cindy, granddaughter Amanda Beyersdorf,  grandson Jeremy (Annie) Beyersdorf and Emmy and Ry.  She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, her special friends and their families and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hank, her parents, special in-laws Henry and Priscilla Beyersdorf, two brothers and their spouses - Wilmer and Carol Casperson and Ken and Mary "Toots" Casperson  along with three sister-in-laws and their spouses - Irene and Harold Biebow and their son Dan, Gladys and Calvin "Hoot" Armitage, and Mary and Roy Sieg.
Visitation will occur on Thursday May 19 from 5 - 7 pm at Wichmann Funeral Home on Superior Street in Appleton. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday May 20, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 302 North Morrison Street Appleton with visitation from 10 am until the service.  A  memorial fund is being established.
A special thank you to Pastor Ninmer for giving her communion and the reassurance of her heavenly home with his prayers and his song on Sunday.  She was so thankful. The family would like to thank the outstanding and compassionate staff at Theda Clark ICU for her care as this past weekend she prepared to meet her heavenly maker - especially Adam, Kristin and Hope.
