Age 40, died unexpectedly Monday, December 24, 2001. She was born July 1, 1961 to Earl and JoAnn (Delores Barclay) Zehren in Appleton. Janette married Samual Smith on July 15, 1995 in Appleton. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, playing bingo, camping and fishing. Janette loved her granddaughter and cherished the time she watched her.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Smith; her five children, Amy (fiancé, Clyde Dombrowski) Zehren; April Buzanowski; Aron Zehren; Amber Zehren and Adam Thilke; her granddaughter, Emily Dombrowski; her eight siblings, Clayton (Amy) Zehren; David Zehren; Linda (Bryan) Brazil; Margie (Bob) Abendroth; Mary (Dennis) Zaugg; Steve (Laurie) Zehren; Anna (Kevin) Brazil and Carol (Dan) Bouchette. She will also be greatly missed by her mother, Delores Zehren; a mother in law, Beverly Smith and her favorite aunt, Florence Zehren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Zehren and seven nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 7 PM on Friday, December 28, 2001 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Tri County Chapel 3212 South Oneida Street, Menasha. Viewing and visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in her name.
