Age 64, was called to her Lord on Monday, October 29, 2001, at her home. Janet was born on June 10, 1937, in Fond du lac to Gertrude S. (Rolloff) Vetter and the late Wilbur J. Vetter. She married LaWellyn “Lew” Tesch on June 17, 1961, in Fond du lac. Janet was a loving wife and mother. She was a long-time and faithful member of Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church and enjoyed crafting, crocheting, tating, knitting, and sewing. Janet worked for the A. C. Nielsen Company in Fond du lac for four years; was a floral designer at Manawa Foral for several years; and was a Shaklee Sales Leader for over 27 years. Survivors include LaWellyn, her husband of 40 years; her son, Dean (Debra) Tesch, Stetsonville; and her mother, Gertrude S. Vetter, Appleton. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2001, at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again directly at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in her name.
