Jane E. Dittmar

Jane E. Dittmar, 77, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018.

Jane was born on November 6, 1940. On March 17, 1962 she was united in marriage to Carlton Dittmar. Jane worked at Appleton Medical Center for over 30 years as a Cardiac Care Nurse. She enjoyed playing cards and bunko with her family and friends. She and Carl enjoyed traveling and traveled to all 50 states and several other countries. Friday night fish fry’s were always a special time. The family cottage at Shawano Lake and the winters spent at South Padre Island are two places that many memories were made and will always be cherished. Jane was very proud of her children and grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her children; Amy (John) Hein, William “Bill” Dittmar, Craig (Sally) Dittmar, and Laura (Doug) Dedering; grandchildren Alex Hein, Whitney Dedering, and Riley Dedering; sister-in-law, Mildred Powers; nephew, Gregory Aurand; and nieces, Katy Lamphere and Andrea Aurand, her grand dogs, other relatives and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl and a sister June (Jerry) Garvey.

The funeral service for Jane will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 912 Oneida St., Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
