James L. Schuster ‘Jim’
Appleton, Age 80 passed away on August 14, 2002 at Manor Care. He was born in Rolling Prarie, WI on November 24, 1921 to the late Vincent and Anna (Bachaus) Schuster. Jim married Gladys Pieper on June 15, 1947. He worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Co. as an electrical engineer and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include his two daughters: Nancy (David) Eggert, Appleton, and Patricia (Alan) Hoppe, Darboy; grandchildren: Kevin Eggert, Arica, Adreanne and Benjamin Hoppe; brothers: Raymond (Thelma) Schuster, MO, and Lorence (Muriel) Schuster, Beaver Dam; sister: Carol (William) Abel, Randolph.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, son, Robert, sister Dorothea Hoeft and a brother: “Fritz” Schuster.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Star of Hope Chapel in Highland Memorial Park, with Pastor Leon Knitt officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2002 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to the service at the Star of Hope Chapel.
Jim was never one to sit still and will always be remembered by his quick smile, wit and caring love.
