James Alfred Hebert

James Alfred Hebert, age 83, passed away on February 19, 2025. Jim was born on December 10, 1941 in Illinois to the late Alfred and Dorothy (Benoit) Hebert. After graduation from high school he attended Marquette University pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He worked as a Land Surveyer, starting his own business, Outagamie Land Surveying in 1976. The business Jim started is now Hebert Associates, Inc. Jim was united in marriage to Donna Svazich on July 28, 1962, in Joliet. Jim and Donna met each other while attending Marquette University, Milwaukee at a St. Patrick’s Day dance. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Rotary Club. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including biking, hunting and fishing.

Jim is survived by 4 children: Denise DeHart, David Hebert, Dan (Liz) Hebert, and Rich Hebert; 18 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna, grandson Jacob Mata and a daughter-in-law: Deanna Hebert.

There will be a funeral Mass for Jim on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11;30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton. There will be a visitation at the church from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
