Age 60, passed away in Appleton on Wednesday, November 26, 2003. James was proud to be a Naval Veteran. He was the loving husband to Judith P. Flanigan; father to Judith M. (Brian) Langsdorf, Frank M. (Shelly) Flanigan; and proud grandfather to James R. Flanigan; dear brother to Don (Virginia) Flanigan, Mary (Dale) Bergner, Dorothy Mears, Sister Mary Patrick Flanigan, and Nancy (Roger) Miller. He is further survived by many caring inlaws, nieces, nephews and friends. James is preceded in death by his parents, Clara J. and Michael P. Flanigan; brother, Glen Flanigan; sister, Kathleen Weiland; and a brother-in-law, Wayne Mears.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, 3131 North Richmond Street, Appleton. Friends will be received at the chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
