Isabel Catherine "Belle" Sheleski (Meulemans)

Isabel “Belle” Sheleski, 99, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Gardens of Fountain Way, Menasha. She was born on April 18, 1922, on the family farm in the Town of Kaukauna, the daughter of Henry and Rose (McDaniel) Meulemans. Belle was united in marriage to Hillard Sheleski on June 12, 1943, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton, and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading and sewing for the Menasha Homemakers. Belle will be remembered for being loving and kind, and having a quiet and unassuming personality.

Isabel is survived by her 4 children: Judi (Bill) Klein, Diane McNulty, Mike (Debbie) Sheleski, and Bill (Ann) Sheleski; 6 grandchildren: Jenny, Nathan, Matt, Andy, Ryan, and Brett; 11 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law: Kay; other relatives and friends; especially Allyson, Mary, and Gloria.

Belle was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law: John McNulty; and 3 brothers: Joe, Gordon, and Bernard Meulemans.

Funeral service for Belle will be held at 5:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the funeral chapel, from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Menasha. Please visit Isabel’s obituary page, at www.
