Irene M. Paschen

Age 89, passed away Monday, September 24, 2001 at Colony Oaks Care Center in Appleton. Irene was born in Kaukauna on November 6, 1911, daughter of the late Herman and Dora (Meetz) Paschen. Irene was employed by the Thilmany Bag Mill for some seventeen years, and also worked for over twenty-five years at National Can Corporation in Menasha where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Irene retired in 1975.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews: Virginia (George) Steffens, Carol (Leon) Ashauer, Janice (Karl) Freier, Eugene (Ruth) Lange, Victor (Betty) Lange, Jane (Gerald) Salentine, and Margo (William) Perkins, Doug (Teri) Paschen, Dick (Nancy) Paschen, and by a sister-in-law: Sue (Bob) Craner. She was preceded in death by her parents, by sisters Mabel (Albert) Reinholz, Bessie (Victor) Lange, Margaret (Otto) Dreger, and Dorothy (Norman) Lange; by brothers Herbert (Lillian) Paschen, Walter (Marion) Paschen, and Raymond Paschen; as well as by nephews Kenneth Reinholz, Wayne Paschen, Robert Dreger, James Lange, and Gordon Paschen.

Funeral services for Irene will be held at the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 with Rev. Tom Fritz officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the hour of the services.
