Ila Badtke

Ila Badtke (Goheen) was called to everlasting life on Friday, December 26, 2014, where she joined her husband, Reinhold “Reinie” Badtke and beloved Sheltie, Tonnie. She was born on November 21, 1921, to Clarence and Grace Goheen in South Bend, Indiana.

She is survived by daughters, Shirley (Norman) Matson and Carol (Robert) Edwards; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Mester of South Bend, Indiana; and special friend, Jane McCormick of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reinhold “Reinie” Badtke, parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Ila worked as an accountant and she enjoyed fishing, boating, bowling, crocheting, sewing, going to dog shows, and spending time with her friends and family.

Funeral services for Ila will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK – Star of Hope Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond Street, Appleton.
