MACK, IAN SEEVERS
Ian Seevers Mack, age 23, of Appleton, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2007, in a climbing accident in Bishop, California. Ian was born on April 20, 1983, in Waukesha, to Marcus and Shelley (Seevers) Mack and was brought to his Savior through Holy Baptism on May 8, 1983. He was a 2005 graduate of UW-Madison with a degree in Environmental Conservation and Biology. Ian attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee and graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School, Appleton in 2001. He was a vibrant individualist and an experienced and avid outdoorsman. Ian had a thirst for knowledge and enjoyed reading, art and music. A free-spirit, Ian embraced life with gusto and took every opportunity to enjoy new experiences. Ian was an experienced traveler. Whether summiting Mont Blanc or the peaks of Utah, sleeping on the Spanish Steps in Italy, or solo hiking the Pacific Coastal Trail, Ian was at home in the outdoors and loved adventure. Charming, well-spoken and friendly, Ian enjoyed meeting people and made friends quickly. He was a young man of diversified interest and loved life and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be immensely missed by family and friends alike. Survivors include his parents; his younger sisters, Amy Noelle and Sadie Carolyn; his grandparents, Carolyn Mack of Waukesha and Joann (James) Wolfgram of Hales Corners; and his wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that he loved so much. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Community Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to everyone who has offered their support and love. Ian, we love you and will miss you very much. You gave us amazing memories and we look forward to a joyful reunion in heaven. A memorial has been established in his name.
