Howard Kieffer, age 88, of Kaukauna, WI and formerly of Marinette, WI, entered Eternal Life on November 8, 2016, at St. Paul Villa, Kaukauna. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Jean (nee Malliet); sons Jim, Perry and Dave Kieffer; sisters Betty Nigl, Delores Wheaton, and Judy LaRue; and brother Austin Wheaton. Proud grandfather of Sonia (Guy) Schmitt, Kristan (Dave) Black, Ben (Stephanie) Kieffer, Brittney (Matt) Eveningred, Linsey Kieffer, Gabbie Kieffer, Ashley (Bryan) Beres, Melissa (Jason) Doss, and Dan Kieffer. He is further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends and former coworkers. Howard has been reunited in Heaven with his parents, Loretta and Clarence; daughter Jean “Ginger” Schmitt; son Chris Kieffer; sister Ila Kieffer; brothers Clayton and Clyde Kieffer; sister-in-law, Pat (Gordie) Brockman; and many other loved ones. Howard proudly served in the US Army in Korea and was a 38-year employee of Giddings & Lewis in Kaukauna, WI and Menominee, MI.
The Memorial Service for Howard will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at ST. PAUL HOME CHAPEL, 316 E. 14th Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Willard Van De Loo officiating. There will be a visitation at the St. Paul Home Chapel on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Patriot Guard Riders Wisconsin, Saint Paul Elder Services, or the charity of your choice will be appreciated.
