Formerly also known as David Lee Hove, passed away at the Appleton Medical Center on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Hove was born in Appleton on April 27, 1940, son of the late Harry and Ruth (Anderson) Hove, Jr. He was proud to have been a limousine driver for many years, and had personally escorted Roy Rogers and Dale Evans on many occasions. Hove also had a great love of motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.
Hove leaves behind his daughter: Stacy (David II) Dake of Appleton; his former wife: Barbara Hove of Appleton; two sisters: Sheryl (Robert) Reynebeau of Appleton and Susan (Leonard) Martin of Black Creek; and a sister-in-law: Bonnie Hove of Appleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald Hove.
There will be a reception to honor Hove's life at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
