In loving memory of Hobert "Lee" Crouch, who at the age of 90, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2024, at Theda Care Medical Center, Neenah, WI. Born on February 13, 1934, in White Lake, WI, Lee rendered 30 years of honorable service to the National Guard, retiring with the esteemed rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His dedication to his country was matched by his commitment to his career as a corrosion technician at Wisconsin Gas Company, from which he retired after many years of faithful service.
A proud alumnus of White Lake High School class of 1952, Lee's affection for his roots was evident throughout his lifetime.
His 44-year marriage to Mary Jo (Keidatz) Crouch was a testament to his steadfast love and devotion.
Lee was a man of many interests, including travel, with a particular fondness for Florida in the winter and spending time with Mary’s cousins Jim and Jack Schlude. Summers were spent at their lake home on John Lake, WI until for health reasons they moved to Appleton, WI. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers, embodying the spirit of Wisconsin through and through.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, sons, Jeffrey ( Mary Jo) Crouch, with their daughter Jessica, Gregory (Sylvia) Crouch, with their children Rahel Holinbeck and Natasha (Stian) Pearson as well as Mary's children, Kari (Lee) Agen, with their children Zachary and Katie, and Mike (Peggy) Mahn, with their children Brian, Joel (Gina), and Cory (Susan) and grandchildren Richelle (Jordan) Grady and Aaron Stoneburner. The family circle also embraced his sister Cindy Repenn and brother Mike (Kathy) Crouch, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins and JoJo the cat.
Preceding him in passing were his parents, Hobert and Beatrice (Sather) Crouch, his mother-in-law Bernadette Joyce, his brother-in-law Charles Repenn, Mary’s son Steven Mahn, and daughter Debbie Stoneburner and Stacey Strange.
Lee's life was a portrait of loyalty, service, and lending a hand to anyone who needed help. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the staff at Rennes and Renaissance Assisted living for their kind care given to Lee.
