HERMAN ''Jim'' STILL

Age 68, died on Friday, January 11, 2002, at his daughter's home. Jim was born on December 5, 1933, in Appleton, to the late Ewald and Esther (Horner) Still. He married Georgia Lee Krause on February 13, 1960, in Appleton. Jim was employed at Fox River Paper Company for 44 years, retiring in 1995. He loved to tinker with cars and tractors, enjoyed fishing and playing cribbage, remodeling work and carpentry, and most all enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. Jim was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at Fox River Paper Company. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Lee; his daughters, Cindy Still (special friend, Cary Eisch, Neenah), Kimberly, and Deanna (Kevin) Raatz, Appleton; his grandchildren, Broderick and Conner Lemke, and Gretchen Raatz and Emily Raatz; his brothers and sisters, Cornelius (Shirley) Still, Appleton; Robert (Shirley) Still, Appleton; Joseph Still, Appleton; Lorraine Hendricks, Indianapolis, Indiana; Jerry Still, Appleton; his former son-in-law, Jack Lemke, Neenah; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Caroline Witter and his sister-in-law, Carol Still and brother-in-law, Don Hendricks . Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2002, at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, STAR OF HOPE CHAPEL, 3131 North Richmond Street, Appleton, with Rev. Amy Bertschausen officiating. Friends may call directly at the cemetery chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in his name. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. Baum and his staff, the staff of the Oncology Department at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Affinity Hospice for their loving care.
