Age 95, died Thursday, January 23, 2003, at Rennes Health Center. Henrietta was born on July 25, 1907, in Oshkosh, daughter of the late George and Bertha (Last) Faust. On June 25th, 1941, she married Hubert Wetak, sharing 57 years together before his death on August 22, 1998. Henrietta earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Lawrence Conservatory of Music in 1931. She served as choir director for St. John’s and St. Peter’s Catholic Churches in Oshkosh; country music supervisor, Marinette, Wisconsin; music supervisor for the Peshtigo public schools and private piano instructor. Henrietta was an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton, since 1945; member of the Third Order of St. Francis since 1951 and the Catholic Daughters of America since 1949. She was a member of the Fox Valley Girl Scout Council for 17 years and was active in a neighborhood bible study group for 22 years. Henrietta enjoyed travel and especially participating in Elder Hostel programs. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Henrietta is survived by her four children: Barbara (Dennis) Coleman, Neenah; Peter (Patrice) Wetak, Waupun; Paula (Thomas) Segert, Fairview Heights, Illinois; Joseph (Kay) Wetak, Manitowoc; her eleven grandchildren; her eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Norma Maxwell, Oshkosh; her brother, George (Ellen) Faust, Oshkosh; two sisters-in-law, Virginia (Gilbert) Faust, Oshkosh, and Rita (John) Faust, Oshkosh; a brother-in-law, James Baenen, Green Bay; and many nieces and nephews. Her brothers John, Gilbert, and Casper Faust, and sisters, Grace Faust, Elizabeth Hubertus and Martha Wagner, preceded Henrietta in death. A Memorial Funeral Liturgy for Henrietta will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on SATURDAY, February 1, 2003, at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 213 East Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Henrietta’s name. Henrietta’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the staff at Rennes Health Center for their kindness and support.
