Of Kaukauna, age 85 years, died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born June 29, 1920 in Woodville, WI the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Peters) Tennessen. Helen was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church and a crossing guard on Lawe Street in Kaukauna for 20 years. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ervin Tennessen and a sister Loretta Gerrits.

The memorial funeral liturgy will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2005 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Martin Fox officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Hollandtown. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.
