Age 87, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2001 at her home. She was born on April 13, 1914 in Appleton the daughter of the late Dr. Earl F. and Aimee (Lloyd) McGrath. She taught at McKinley Junior High School (now Madison Jr. High) in Appleton for many years, and also was the first administrator of the Community Blood Center until she retired in 1984. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton. She is survived by her dear friends and her cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Friday, October 12, 2001 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 212 South State Street with the Rev. Robert Lexa officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Following the Mass, there will be a time of fellowship for Helen’s friends in the Community Room at St. Mary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
